DANVILLE, Ill. — Margaret Anne “Margie Morran” Adams, 84, Danville, Ill., died at 8:45 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 30, 2007 in Colonial Manor, Danville. She was born Jan. 20, 1923 in Bedford, the daughter of George Washington and Amanda (Drabing) Barnett. She married Aaron Morran Oct. 30, 1940, they divorced and she married Herschel Adams Jan. 26, 1986, they divorced. She was employed at Illiana VA Medical Center for 25 years before retiring. She moved from Covington to Danville in 1972. She was a member of Holiday Hills Free Methodist Church, its Missionary Society, and a former member of the church board. Survivors include: three children, Kevin (Pat) Morran, Cheyenne, Wyo., Marc Morran and Armilda (Tom) Schooler, both of Danville, Ill.; a sister, Helen Spires, Bedford; seven grandchildren, Rick, Dianna, Aaron, Justin, Tammy, Heather, and Misty; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; three children, Doretha Morran, Dwight Morran, and Allan Morran; a grandson, Brian Schooler; three brothers; and two sisters. Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Shelby Funeral Home, Covington, with Pastor Joe Latson and Pastor Gage Norem officiating. Burial was in Lower Mound Cemetery, Covington. – jlr
